Nickie Sigurdsson

Nickie Sigurdsson is a visual artist and alumni from the Jan Van Eyck Academie (NL) with a background in agriculture. Her works often deal with the intricacies between land, memory, and themes around ’the metabolic rift’. Interested in situated knowledge and interdisciplinary methods she also seeks to create and facilitate spaces where hybrid forms of knowledge production and learning environments can exist. Her works have been shown at Palais de Tokyo (FR), Triennale di Milano (IT), Automat Gallery (US), NYLO (IS), and Setu performance festival (FR).
